Last month the Grade 4-7 Maths Academy students from Hudson Park Primary School wrote the SA Mathematics Foundation AMESA Olympiad.
No fewer than 104 of students were been selected to write Round 2, which takes place next term.
Hudson Park Primary has the highest number of Round 2 entrants in the Eastern Cape.
The problem solving questions posed in the Olympiad are not routine problems, but require insight and lateral thinking.
