BUFFALO City Metro Mayor Xola Pakathi introduced the new municipal manager to the media last week.

Having started his duties on June 1, Sihlala said he did not yet have a clear vision of what his vision for the metro was as he had not met with management. “When the time is appropriate we are going to call you again to announce the vision going forward from the administration ,” he said.
The 53-year-old, originally from Queenstown, has sat on various boards including the Eastern Cape Development Corporation. He has experience directing properties, estates, legal advice and administration at Gauteng’s Ekurhuleni Metro between 2010 and 2014.
