MASITHETHE Counselling Services, (formerly LifeLine East London) will be hosting a five-day personal growth and leadership skills course for teenagers on July 10 to 14.
The course will run from 9.30am to 2pm from the Monday to Friday and will take place at Masithethe – 3 St James Road, Southernwood in East London and at Eric Mntonga High School, Unit 12, Mdantsane.
This course assists teenagers to develop themselves by learning how to communicate effectively, build healthy relationships, skills to help cope with life’s challenges, life-skills and leadership skills, so that they can make good life choices. The course focuses on: trust building, values, creativity, child abuse, gender abuse, self-awareness, bereavement, loss and rejection, stress management, conflict and anger, communication and listening skills, relationships, depression, suicide awareness, bullying and much more.
