IF YOU feel fresh and in the mood to move your body, then put on your dancing shoes and get ready to party the night away with Zakes Bantwini at The Venue at Hemingways next Friday.
The platinum-selling artist will be kicking off his national tour to launch his brand new album, Love, Light and Music 2.

Born and raised in Durban as Zakhele Madida, not only does the muso have multiple albums under his belt, he also released the very first live house DVD in South Africa. Since entering the local music scene in 2009, he has entertained audiences on stages nationwide, the African continent and further abroad.
Speaking to the GO! this week, he said he is looking forward to East London people dancing to his new music.
“I can’t wait to see you. It has been a long-awaited visit. I will bring my full band with my new music; it’s exciting stuff for me. People must bring their gang and let’s make it a party,” he said.
The album features the legendary Hugh Masekela, along with a slew of other music stars, and includes hits like My No1 and Bang Bang Bang – two of his most downloaded songs on iTunes.
Hemingways Casino marketing manager Neville Austin said: “With Hemingways Casino being East London’s No1 entertainment destination, the launch party promises to be a night of fun and dancing. You won’t forgive yourself for missing the opportunity to see Zakes performing music that has never been heard before and showing off his quirky moves.”
