The Cubs were the first group to visit the animal shelter since their big move and brought much excitement, love and food for all. The cattery which they have pledged to adopt, has been sponsored by the East London Port Rex Lions Club. The Cubs will plant and maintain the garden in the cattery, ensuring all the kitties have a beautiful home.
As part of their annual Christmas outreach, the Port Rex Lions Cubs visit various charities and conduct events.
This year, one of their main events is the Walk against Abuse (WWA) which will be held tomorrow in conjunction with Masithethe Counselling Services.
