Three young soccer young stars from the Hamilton Club Premiere Football Academy in East London are set to jet off to Valencia, Spain on December 7 for a professional training programme and football matches against other professional clubs around Valencia.
The lucky players participants are Taachaye Hendricks, 11, Liam Poole, 11, and Leeyogan Saville, 12.
The opportunity comes courtesy of Premiere founder Wally Walker’s vision of training youngsters to be professional football players.
“They will get an opportunity to go to Spain, and train and play with big clubs. They are going to have a five-star experience,” he said.
Walker, a former professional footballer who has played for Manchester United junior teams and within the South African Professional League, said it was his father who pushed him to participate in soccer.
“It is going to be my first time taking such young kids. I hope the climate suits them. They are very young, but they are good,” he said.
Interested players or parents who want to are interested in joining the academy, can contact Walker 078-202-7839.
