In a bid to raise money for charities, the Rotary Club of Arcadia will host its annual Music in the Park event on Sunday February 24 in East London.
The afternoon will feature a variety of the city’s school musical bands to as they entertain the crowd.
Clarendon High School choir, Hudson Park High School band, Stirling High School’s chamber choir and jazz band, as well as and Selborne College’s military band will perform.
Also on the musical list is the historical Caledonian Society Pipe Band that will be sure to hit some high notes.
Music lovers can bring their picnic baskets, camp chairs and their blankets for this open-air entertainment at The Gardens, in 70 Jarvis Road, Berea.
Starting at 3pm, the entrance fee is R30 while children and pensioners have free entrance.
