Tickets will be for the show’s opening night on October 27, which starts at 7pm, and are valued at R70 each.

Entries close at 9pm on Friday October 23 and winners will be notified via e-mail and/or telephonically on or before Monday October 26 by the GO! & Express.

The East London Guild Theatre adheres to Covid-19 regulations and only permits a 50% attendance as a result.

In the beginning of the year, Andre The Hilarious Hypnotist announced that he was doing a farewell tour of South Africa as he was preparing to emigrate to the UK.

This was long before the word “lockdown ” became a commonly used phrase and, in keeping with his promise Andre The Hilarious Hypnotist returns to the East London Guild Theatre for what could be his last season, 28 years after he first set foot in East London.

Andre will be presenting his hilarious mix of hypnotic entertainment.

But it does not stop there. Andre has added a twist to the show as he prepares to read people’s minds.

That’s right, not only will Andre have the audience jumping around on stage impersonating everything from a washing-machine to Superman, but he will also have predicted the outcome of the entire evening’s performance at the end of the show.

It’s a step in a new direction for Andre, who will be featuring this addition to the show for the first time at the East London Guild Theatre.

He believes he will successfully astound, amaze and entertain the audience as he risks the success of the entire show on his prediction.

Tickets start from as little as R70 per person and bookings are open at Computicket.
