Hudson Park High School proudly celebrated rising water polo star Kara Batting at its recent summer sports awards assembly, where she was awarded honours cum laude for her achievements in the pool.
Kara’s sporting journey has been nothing short of exceptional. Last year, she represented SA at the World Aquatics Women’s U16 Water Polo Championships.
This year, she continued to make waves, earning selection for the SA U17 team at the Senior Nationals Water Polo Tournament.
In recognition of her hard work, discipline and national representation, Hudson Park presented Kara with the prestigious honours cum laude blazer and certificate — a symbol of the school’s highest sporting accolade.
“We are incredibly proud of Kara’s dedication to her sport and her contribution to Hudson Park water polo,” the school said.
