Cambridge High is celebrating the outstanding achievements of its Computer Applications Technology (CAT) pupils after an impressive performance in the Applications Olympiad held recently.
Grade 10, 11 and 12 pupils took part in the prestigious competition, showcasing their digital literacy, problem-solving abilities and application software skills against learners from across the country.
The Grade 10 class produced exceptional results, with Max Schutte and Braidan Menteath earning Gold awards, while Imange Bidli and Sindile Albia received Silver medals. Bronze awards went to Ntlahla Ntangashe, Nkazimlo Mabiletsa, Jessica Knickelbein, Kwakhanya Gidi and Bukho Bonga.
Certificates of achievement were awarded to Minenhle Tyeni, Hlelo Ntlama, Chulu Mbutsi, Obutsha Mazaule, Ovayo Magingxa and Liyakha Gowa.
Among the Grade 11 pupils, certificates were presented to Enrique Volkers, Gemma Wiggil, Sharlene Steyn, Onwaba Mahlangabeza, Luphawu Magadla, Ethan Francis, Dante Cannon and Chernique Barends for their participation and achievement.
Grade 12 pupils also performed well, with Tyra-Jaye Green receiving a Silver award and Leeshen Chetty earning Bronze. Certificates were awarded to Bivesh Bacharam, Tyler Bambie, Mqoweni Lepele, Lavela Mapoma, Yamkela Mbana and Omiyelo Nompunga.
The school congratulated every pupil who participated, praising their dedication, commitment to excellence and ability to apply technology skills in a competitive environment.
