WOMEN from all over East London are invited to the annual At Home event that will be held on Saturday at the Salvation Army in Southernwood.
Organiser Melvera Deslate said the aim of the event was to have women from all walks of life under one roof.
“It does not matter how rich or poor one is, we just want to spend the day with them as we bid farewell to August; Women’s Month,” Deslate said.
The theme for this year is “Joyfully His”.
“When you have Jesus in your life, you find joy and peace. That is what we will be talking about and that is what we want to promote. The Lord keeps doing great things in our lives and we want to share that with other women,” she said.
Entrance is free and there will be crafts and cakes on sale.
