THE annual Valentine’s Cabaret is back for 11 days of non-stop entertainment and love with the brand new themed cabaret Kiss and Tell.
Each year The Arts Theatre selects and produces a Valentine’s cabaret in order to raise funds for local charities. This year’s cabaret is produced by the talented Amanda Bothma, Kerry Hiles and Vicky Luff – and promises a fun-filled evening for all.
The cast includes numerous talents including Daniel Anderson, Elise Mattheus, Jonathan Buitendag, Kristie Van Zyl , Nathalie Oberam, Pieter Van Zyl and Luff. The cast will be backed by Daniel Brodie on piano, Davey Diab on drums and Kerry Hiles on bass guitar.
From numbers such as Kiss Me, Honey Honey to Summer Loving and Kiss and Tell, will fill you in on all the trials and tribulations of love in a toe-tapping performance.
The cabaret will run from February 14 to 25 and each night will belong to a specific charity. Audiences can support their favourite charity by booking tickets for a specific night and the proceedings from the night will be donated to that charity.
The charities include the SPCA, Helping Hand Foundation, The Eyabantwana, For the Children Trust, Down Syndrome Association Amathole and many more. Tickets are R100 per person and audiences are encouraged to bring picnic baskets with snacks and drinks to enjoy throughout the performance. All performances start at 7.30pm.
