AMERICA’S premier Christian ballet company, Ballet Magnificat! will present Deliver Us! at the Guild Theatre this weekend.
Founded in 1986, the Jackson, Mississippi-based company brings their most popular and longest touring ballets to East London audiences.
Deliver Us! first took to the stage in 2001 and has since been performed in Asia, Europe, North and South America, and the Middle East.
Set to the music of Dreamworks’ The Prince of Egypt, it tells the biblical story of Moses.
“Why tell fairytales when you can bring to the stage a story of such courage and faith,” choreographer Jiri Voborsky said.
