Rising Sun Foundation held its first motivational seminar at Vulamzibuko Secondary School in Mdantsane on Wednesday.
Rising Sun chairperson, Loren Flanagan said the main purpose of the seminar was to motivate the grade 12 pupils for their preliminary exams.
“The organisation’s main mission is to assist the matriculants to realise their dreams and unleash their talents,” she said.
Flanagan said they invited a guest, Vuyokazi Ntanda, who is an entrepreneur and has 10 years working experience in the beauty industry. Ntanda is also a entrepreneur and former radio presenter from Izwilethemba FM radio presenter Vuyokazi Ntanda was invited as guest.
“We invited Ntanda to show the pupils that if one puts their mind in to anything, it can be done.”
Flanagan said indicated that they also donated some stationery to the pupils. , so that they won’t struggle in getting the correct school essentials when they write their exams.
“We would like to thank Office Incorporated and PNA Stationers for their assistance – it truly had a huge impact on those school pupils’ academic careers.” concluded Flanagan.
