Dale Junior under-13 rugby was unbeaten this season, with only one draw out of 24 games played.
Dale Junior marketing manager Luyanda Mpande said this was a record for the team.
“This team has definitely punched above their weight. When the big moments arrived during in the season, they managed to pull together and work through them.
“With big wins against Selborne Primary and Grey PE, the team based their play on a good defence.”
Mpande said the team had nine Border represen- tatives – seven in the Craven Week team and two for the Border B team.
