While the nation grapples with gender-based violence in the past few days, an Eastern Cape woman disappeared on August 3 while travelling from Tsolo.
Nolundi Ludidi,30, was initially reported as a missing person at Tsolo SAPS, and later changed to a case of kidnapping being investigated by a team of experienced King William’s Town detectives.
Clues and leads have lead them to bushy surrounding areas of Bhisho with no success.
While the investigation is sensitive at this stage, Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner Lt Gen Liziwe Ntshinga has appealed for calm and rational thinking before any decision is taken by members of the public.
“Our members and detective teams are doing the best they can with the resources at their disposal. We remain hopeful and optimistic for a speedy breakthrough in our investigation,” Ntshinga said.
Anyone with information is urged to contact investigating officers, Captain Wanele Ndinisa on 082-441-9240 or Sergeant Luxolo on 082-387-5337. All information will be treated confidentially.
