Time is running out to enter for SPAR Daily Dispatch Fun Run for Disability, which will be held virtually on November 28 between 6am and 2pm.
Runners can choose their route and distance, and run with family or friends.
This virtual run will be done in aid of a locally registered non-profit organisation focussed on supporting individuals with disabilities.
Individual entries close at midnight November 22, while group entries close Friday November 12.
Groups of up to 20 entrants stand a chance to win a share of one of three SPAR vouchers worth R2,000 each, while schools and corporate groups with 50 or more participants stand a chance to win a R50,000 Daily Dispatch advertising package.
Free shirts will be available to the first 1,500 entrants and can be either collected or delivered.
Delivery is only available to those who entered before midnight November 12 and chose the courier option. Those who qualify will have their shirts delivered by no later than Thursday November 25.
Shirts can also be collected at the Guild Theatre from 9am to 4pm between November 22 and 26, and can also be collected from the Daily Dispatch office at the corner of Quenera Drive and St Helena Road from 9am to 6pm on Saturday November 27.
Those choosing to collect will receive an SMS or email by no later than Thursday November 18 with the day on which to pick up their shirts.
Those who select the Group or Bulk entry option will pay only one courier fee of R20 to a single address in East London, or R40 to a single address in Mthatha. For bulk entries to a delivery address outside East London or Mthatha, the courier fee of R81 will apply.
