Merrifield College delivered outstanding performances in the recent interschool debating competition, earning victories in both the senior and junior divisions.
In the senior category, Merrifield was up against Advance for Life Christian School. The team secured a well-deserved win, with Inathi Tofa earning accolades as best speaker for the debate.
The junior team also displayed their skills in a match against Lilyfontein, claiming another win for Merrifield.
Zoyama Magqabi was named best speaker, highlighting the depth of talent in the school’s debating program.
