Breidbach-based rugby club Wolfs RFC, established in 2017, is ready and in high spirits for the 2019 season.
Wolfs started to compete in the sub-union league in 2018 last year and had a very good debut season, ending second on the log after a narrow defeat against Nonkcampa-based All Blacks in the play-offs.

“Our main goal for 2019 is to build unity in the club to be a much better team in the future,” Wolfs RFC head Eldrico Jansen said.

They also emerged victorious against Ndevana-based Blue Jets last weekend, winning the match 28-7.
“This is a great start for us. and gives much hope for the season. and wWith the discipline the team is showing, I see ourselves in the final play-offs fighting for promotion at the end of the season,” Jansen said.
“I am very enthusiastic about this season and the future of Wolfs. With hard work, I believe that we can achieve our the goals,” that we have set out,” said Wolfs scrumhalf and fullback Sunil Nandkuar.
