The Eastern Province Deep Sea Angling Association has seen a number of junior members being chosen to represent both them and the province.

Graeme Burdett has been selected for the South African Deep Sea Angling Association (SADSAA) Junior Under 19 team, making him only the second EP youth to achieve this level after Dannika Didloff in 2014.

Burdett was also chosen for the SADSAA team taking part in the 2019 Bottom Fish Nationals held in Durban in August.

Burdett’s sister Kimberly is currently representing the Eastern Province team in the SADSAA Junior Bottom Fish Nationals here in East London, along with Grayson Darlow and Connor Gerber.

The competition runs until Saturday June 29.

The Eastern Province Deep Sea Angling Association thanked the sponsors that made their members’ achievements possible, most notably Sibuya Game Reserve and Craig and Lesley of Sunshine Coast SPAR, Kenton-on-Sea.
